Rejuran® in Berlin – Skin Quality with Polynucleotides

Rejuran® is an injectable skin booster based on polynucleotides (PN) obtained from salmon DNA. It adds no volume; it helps the skin bind moisture and produce more collagen and elastin again.

Rejuran® HB Plus combines polynucleotides with hyaluronic acid and a local anaesthetic. It suits treating the face, neck and décolleté across the whole area. Rejuran® S is more concentrated and goes directly into depressed acne scars and enlarged pores. Rejuran® I is made for the thin skin of the eye area. Which version fits you is something we decide once we have assessed your skin.

Hyaluronic acid fillers add volume and change contours, for example at the lips, cheeks or chin. The result is visible immediately. Rejuran® works within the skin itself and targets elasticity, density and texture. The shape of the face stays the same, and the result builds over several sessions. The two combine well.

A session usually takes 30 to 45 minutes, including the time the numbing cream needs to work. The injections themselves take about 15 to 20 minutes depending on the area.

Because many small injections are placed, you do feel the treatment. With numbing cream most patients find it easily tolerable. Rejuran® HB Plus also contains a local anaesthetic, which makes it particularly comfortable.

There is usually no real downtime. Small bumps at the injection points are typical and normally flatten within one to two days. Mild redness, swelling or small bruises are possible. If you have an important date coming up, plan the treatment a few days ahead of it.

Many patients notice fresher, better-hydrated skin after the first session. The improvement in elasticity and texture shows after a few weeks and increases with each further session. We assess the overall result once the planned course is complete.

Small bumps, redness, mild swelling, tenderness and occasional small bruises at the injection points are common and harmless. They usually settle within a few days. Infections, longer-lasting swelling or allergic reactions are rare. We go through all possible risks with you in the consultation before treatment.

Three sessions three to four weeks apart are usually planned. How many you actually need depends on your starting point, the treatment goal and the version chosen. We reassess progress before each further session.

After a completed course the result often lasts six to twelve months. How long it lasts for you depends on factors including age, skin condition, sun exposure and lifestyle. To maintain it we recommend a top-up at regular intervals.

On the day of treatment, avoid make-up and don't massage or rub the treated areas. The bumps flatten on their own. For a few days we recommend avoiding sauna, tanning beds, strong sun and very intense exercise. Consistent sun protection supports the result.

We do not treat anyone with a known allergy to fish or salmon protein or to other components of the product, anyone with acute inflammation or infection in the planned area, or during pregnancy and breastfeeding. With autoimmune conditions or a tendency to keloids we assess particularly carefully. Whether treatment is an option in your case is something we establish in the medical consultation.

A treatment with 1 ml costs €550, whichever version is used (HB Plus, S or I). The total depends on the number of areas and sessions. Billing follows the German medical fee schedule (GOÄ).
